Robbie Burns Night
The evening will start off with a set from Gordon McCulloch, who for many years was one of the lead singers, guitar player and a songwriter for the Calgary-based group Seanachie. With the other members of this excellent Scottish group, Gordon and Seanachie recorded several well-received albums.
After a break Bill Hawes will pipe in the haggis, and Jim Hutchens will perform the Address to the Haggis. Bill will then do a few more pipe tunes, and of course then there’ll be a haggis break!
Once everyone’s refreshed their drinks and has their haggis, we’ll move on to… (The headliner for the evening is still to be determined).
